For a decade in Hamburg!

10 January 2020 we celebrated the 10th anniversary of opening PCC Intermodal office in Germany.

When the office at the Elbe was opened, Poland connected with a well-known German port in 2010. During the last 10 years, the number of connections handled and the transported containers through the Poland – Hamburg / Hamburg – Poland corridor increased several times!

In 2010 we performed 270 connections and transported 6,030 containers, and in 2019 the number increased to 494 connections and 22,606 containers. Over the decade we handled over 4,500 trains and almost 200,000 containers.

Hamburg route is coordinated by a team constantly working with the port’s representatives, local clients, partners, and the Head Office in Gdynia. Bernd Meewes is the Head of the Office.

Currently, due to the regular connections for concentrated loads, travelling from/to Hamburg, there are two regular trains available twice a week delivering containers to Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and even Japan and Korea.
