PCC MCAA, one of the three producers of monochloroacetic acid in Europe, is investing in a new solidification unit in Brzeg Dolny. The unit is scheduled to become operational by the end of 2026. The new facility will increase production capacity for solid-form products, enhance the flexibility of the company’s offering, support the acquisition of new customers and contribute to further sales growth in international markets.
The project is in its final stage. The remaining installation work, equipment testing and technical acceptance procedures are currently under way.
The investment also forms part of the broader development strategy for the Chlor & Derivatives segment. In June 2026, PCC SE and PCC Rokita signed a letter of intent concerning the planned integration of the MCAA business into PCC Rokita.
The potential transaction is intended to support further vertical integration, leverage synergies and facilitate the development of the entire value chain in Brzeg Dolny.
The commissioning of the solidification unit represents another step in expanding PCC MCAA’s capabilities and strengthening its position in the European and international markets.
Scheduled commissioning of the unit: end of 2026.
