The Eagles granted by the weekly Wprost are awards given to companies, self-governmental authorities, outstanding figures from the region as well as cross-border and supranational projects. It is a prize for those who make special contributions to the development of the economy, region and country.
Apart from outstanding financial results, the rank also takes into account high ratings and whether the company is not listed in unreliable payer databases.
The Eagles refer to the award received by Wprost from President Ryszard Kaczorowski Institute. Their symbol is the Polish national emblem – the White Eagle from the London seat of the Polish Government on Exile.
The list of award winners was prepared jointly by the editorial team of Wprost and by Bisnode. The rank is under auspices of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, the Ministry of Investment and Development and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
