Sewage pre-treatment plant

On 19 April 2010, PCC Rokita SA and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management signed a contract regarding the following Project:

Construction of a pre-treatment plant for industrial wastewater containing chlorophenols

The project was co-financed under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment, Measure 4.4. Support for enterprises within the scope of water and sewage management, contract No. POIS.04.04.00-00-007/09-00.

It consists in construction of a pre-treatment plant for industrial wastewater (for sewage coming from production of pesticides and a waste disposal ground). The project will allow for reducing the amount of sewage channelled to the treatment plant, in particular the following parameters:

• COD – 85%
• chlorophenols – 50%

From the pre-treatment plant, sewage will be channelled through the industrial sewage system to the PCC Rokita SA Central Sewage Treatment Plant.
Value of the project: PLN 13 850 000.00
Eligible expenses: PLN 13 803 000.00
Grant: PLN 4,140,900.00

The project is co-financed by the European Union with European Regional Development Fund’s resources under the Infrastructure and Environment Programme.
